The Place

Once a cloth mill owned by the Marling family, Ebley Mill won design awards when it was converted into offices by Stroud District Council in 1989. Other parts of the mill complex now have new uses and the canal, which had been filled in for many years, has been dug out again.

Exploring the mill complex, you will find the River Frome running underneath the Ebley Mill building with a weir taking canal and river water.
